Privacy Policy
Peesh is in private beta. This policy explains exactly what we collect and why.
Draft — requires privacy counsel review before public launch
The three ways we use data
1. Personalized shopping. Your searches, swipes, likes, taste profile, sizes, cart, addresses and orders are kept with your account so Peesh can find and buy what you asked for.
2. Product improvement. Pseudonymous usage events help us make search, ranking, speed and reliability better. This stays inside Peesh.
3. Aggregate shopping insights. We may create de-identified, aggregated statistics about shopping trends — for example the share of shoppers who prefer one colour or fabric over another — which in future could be provided commercially to brands, retailers or research partners. These contain statistics only: no individual records, no identifiers, and no free-text searches. We do not do this today, and we will not attempt to re-identify anyone from them.
What we collect
Searches and swipes. The wording of your searches and whether you liked or passed on an item, so results improve for you.
Fit details you choose to enter. Height, weight, measurements, cup size and shoe size. These are optional and used only to score how a garment may fit you.
Cart and shipping details. Name, email, phone and address, so checkout is prefilled next time.
Account basics. If you sign in with Google or Apple we store your email and display name.
Anonymous product analytics. Pseudonymous, per-device counts of events like "search started" or "item added to cart". These are not linked to your account and contain no search text or personal details.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
We do not build advertising profiles about you or engage in cross-context behavioural advertising.
We never include your name, contact details, address, measurements, sizes, payment details, device or session identifiers, or the words you typed into search in any aggregate insight.
We never store card numbers. Payment always happens on the retailer's own checkout page.
Who else sees it
To find products we send your search wording (never your name, address or measurements) to our search and AI providers. Retailers only receive what you enter on their own checkout page.
Your controls
From your account page you can turn off product improvement analytics and aggregate shopping insights at any time. Personalized shopping is how Peesh works, so it stays on while you have an account.
Where local law requires it, aggregate shopping insights stay off unless you switch them on.
You can delete everything Peesh has stored about you at any time from your account page — searches, swipes, likes, cart, measurements, addresses and orders. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Deletion removes all data linked to you. Statistics that were already aggregated contain no information about you individually, so they are neither restored nor rebuilt.
Questions or a deletion request by email: privacy@peesh.app.
Retention
Beta activity data is kept while your account exists. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate.
Internal product-improvement events are kept for up to 13 months, operational logs for 90 days, and de-identified aggregate statistics indefinitely.
